  • Registered Therapist/Associate Rate – $260
  • Student or Presenter Rate – $160

Cost includes one ticket to Friday’s banquet dinner as well as Saturday breakfast & lunch.

Keynote Speaker:

Dr. Christina Belcher, Ph.D

Christina Belcher is a Professor of Education and Chair of the Department of Education at Redeemer University College, Ancaster, Ontario. She has formerly worked in New Zealand, Australia and Trinity Western University in British Columbia in Teacher Education. She is active on many committees and boards involving educational issues, where she strives is to bring wonder, truth, justice and reconciliation to academic study. Her areas of interest are worldview, higher education, culture, children’s literature, and diversity in education.

 

Special Speakers:

shari_pyleShari Pyle MS, PCET, CDT

Shari has been an NILD educational therapist for 18 years. During her 30 years as an educator she has been dedicated to assisting and motivating adults and children in reaching their fullest potential both academically, physically and cognitively.  In addition to being an NILD professionally certified educational therapist, an IDA certified dyslexia therapist and a certified Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment mediator, her experiences include adjunct college professor, workshop presenter, curriculum developer, DPI team member, NILD instructor, community health educator, and cognitive enrichment trainer for the aging.

 

Trix Bradley, M.Ed

Trix was first introduced to NILD in 1991, received training in the U.S. and set on the path to bring NILD to Canada! Trix is director and owner of Edison Learning Centre, Executive Director Emeritus of NILD Canada and is currently an instructor in our graduate courses. A qualified psychometrist, special education teacher and educational consultant, she holds a degree in psychology and a degree in special education. Her passion is equipping parents to help students reach their God-given potential. She is married with two grown sons and a brand new grandson!

 

Mary-Lou MacLean, M.S. – Executive Director, NILD Canada

Mary-Lou’s passion is helping struggling learners reach their full potential. She has worked in the field of education for over 30 years, as a classroom teacher, NILD educational therapist and speaker. Since 2004, she has instructed graduate courses with NILD Canada and became Executive Director for NILD Canada in 2013.
