All Educational Therapists, including Parent and Associate Educational Therapists, need to be registered and licensed yearly in order to use/retain NILD® materials, including manuals.

Registration Types

1. Registered Educational Therapist

2. Registered Parent Educational Therapist

Understanding Your Registration Options

All Educational Therapists, including Parent and Associate Educational Therapists, need to be registered and licensed yearly in order to use/retain NILD® materials, including manuals.

1. Registered Educational Therapist:

This is a practicing Educational Therapist either in a school or private practice with one or more students, whether receiving remuneration from an employer or client, not receiving remuneration, or receiving remuneration in the form of exchange of services.

NILD Canada™ Registered Educational Therapists are entitled to:

• Discounts for conferences and workshops.
• Legal use of NILD Canada™ name and logo.
• Listing on NILD Canada™’s website.
• Access to manual technique updates.
• Access to the Registered Educational Therapists section of the NILD Canada website.
• Member of a Professional Support Team that connects you regularly with other NILD Educational Therapists.
• Access to the NILD Canada Educational Therapists Facebook group.
• VERY low cost therapist website template.

2. Registered Parent Educational Therapist:

This is an Educational Therapist working exclusively with his or her own children. If a Parent Educational Therapist is providing therapy to anyone other than his or her own children they must register as a Registered Educational Therapist.

NILD Canada™ Registered Parent Educational Therapists are entitled to:

• Access to the Registered Educational Therapists only section of the NILD Canada website.
• Access to manual technique updates.
• Member of a Professional Support Team that connects you regularly with other NILD Educational Therapists.
• Access to the NILD Canada Educational Therapists Facebook group.

3. Associate:

NILD Canada™ Associates are entitled to:
